So does this thread mean with Riley's 1-2 record, it's now been decided the issue is talent instead of coaching?

 
I never got to see the game, went to the SC/Stanford game with my boss. (Not by choice). Was amazed the kids came back, gave it good shot It would seem.

It is always a little of both. We are down on talent, just by numbers. But most have said the team did not look prepared or ready to play. That would be coaching.

Still too early to make any real decisions about the program. Coach Riley needs a chance to get the kids he wants and to work with them. It does appear that Tommy has made some improvement with the change, but do not know if that is coaching or Tommy's own hard work.

Again, for some being a Nebraska fan is only about winning. Nothing more. If your willing to quit going to the games because we don't win as often as you think we should, not much of a fan in my mind. The kids are trying, going to need to be some growth on both sides. The season is still young. Keep the faith.

 
The issue I have with this is that Riley has, for his entire career, performed very well with "lesser rated" players. He probably has his highest rated team right now. So, sure 1-2 sucks, but if you can't see progress I guess I think you just need to keep watching.
