I miss my Mom and Dad like I will never miss anyone else. But I can sympathize with each persons loss and grieving.

My older Sister is being forced to move our Mom to a one room "prison cell" at an assisted living apartment in Lincoln this weekend (She'd been living a few floors up in a larger apartment, but the new owner is limiting the number of larger 1BR apartments going to old folks on medicare...Even though we were verbally promised last year that she'd never have to move again).

I tried to tell her this joke to help un stress her a little.

She said, and I agree, "Funny...But he stopped drinking quite awhile ago..and Teddy probably accomplished more to bennefit our country than any of his Brothers were able to..Probably more than if he was just President".

RIP Ted..We're better off having had ya around...

As I age I almost find myself suffering the loss of those that I opposed more than I do those I supported.
