5-1

Anyone who knows me knows I'm a pessimist when it comes to the Huskers, but we are literally about 2 or 3 plays away from being 5-1, folks.

The questionable personal foul call on Suh in the VT game, and any number of plays in the red zone in the 1st half today.

I know we have to learn to win, but perhaps this team is closer than we are giving them credit for.
I agree, WE GAVE VT 9 points and maybe 16 with the double personal foul on their last drive and lost by what 5 points. And then all the crucial mistakes yesterday.

How about if Ganz doesn't throw costly Int's against both Va Tech and Texas Tech is more like it.

I'm not going to get on ganz for the int yesterday. he was getting tackled from behind...though he could learn a lesson from tommy .... when he threw the ball away there was no chance of anyone catching it. it was 10 rows deep
I just wish he would realze when a play has no hope and toss it away. He''ll get there though, he is a gamer.
Eh...I can't get on Ganz at all. He played a good game and the INT at the end was a fluke. The guy is getting tackled from behind as he's running out of the box to throw the ball away. We had the chance to win the game earlier, and he looked like he realized that he had to get the ball away, which is what he was doing.

thats what he was trying to do. I have never understood why QB softly chuck it out of bounds. i would make sure no one was within 30 yards of it
I agree with that. I just think he waited to long. But like I said he will learn that and still improve.

that I agree with totally. the timer in his head is a little to long. he has made some great plays out of nothing, but I would prefer him make the decision a little sooner and then either chuck it or RUN!! I think if he will do that a few times a game it will really help. QBs that run keep D coordinators up at night, and keeps D's honest

Hmmm...typed all that and it didn't go through...anyways. I can't get on Ganz. He knew he had nothing and was running out of the box to throw it away...he just got tackled at the worst possible time. It could've happened to anyone. I think he actually played a good game, putting up some decent numbers. Just bad luck getting the tackle at the worst time.

Well all this constant talk the last few weeks "Throw it away Ganz!...Don't take sacks, for crying out loud!"

Well, you got your wish, he threw it away and got it picked off. Throwing it away probably isn't as easy as it looks, clearly Joe didn't even see that guy or he woulda taken the sack. Sometimes you just gotta know when to take the sack and when its ok to throw it, just bad luck on the timing there.
