Mainly because I didn't wait around for the guys who committed on signing day to actually sign. Figured it was a done deal at that point.

Although 247 says he did sign financial aid papers with Tennessee that day.

Pretty sure financial aid papers are not binding.

Right. They are binding on the school (they have to accept him) but not on the player (he can choose to go somewhere else).
