So funny but true. You can't turn around without running into a Husker shop but you need guide dogs, GPS, and search and rescue assistance to find a beer.

Would everyone consider this the greatest hire ever at UNL? Some might choose TO, but if not for Bob the good Dr, may have never been here either.

I certainly would.

Bob took over a pre-Snyder KSU quality program at NU and won. And won. And won.

TO was great! Devaney was far greater.

Does anyone else find it ironic that Knapp made this thread yet he was so against the hiring at the time... I'm going to see if I can find any of the editorials he wrote to the Lincoln Convalesents association newsletter online or any of the speeches he made to the Nebraska AARP convention against Delvaney but if i can't.... still damn .. talk about a hypocrite

Bought a few boxes of books at an auction recently and found quite a few Husker related books. "Devaney" was in there with an autograph on the first page. Pretty cool. If anyone is interested shoot me a PM. Might consider selling it.
