9/1 Press Conference

Thinks that FAU QB Rusty Smith could play in the Big XII.

Has a lot of confidence in Zac Lee, little to no anxiety on how he will play.

He is anxious to see how the players respond, a lot youth and inexperience.

Positions that are still wide open: LB, some spots in Secondary, a few spots on O-Line, WR, spots that there is inexperience and youth. They play multiple guys at multiple positions, "we'll change a guy in a heartbeat..."

D-Line is pretty set.

Football is a tough game, you are asking players to make multiples of split second decisions. He has confidence in the training and that the team is moving in the right direction. I sense a quiet optimism if you will from Bo about this team.

D-Line is pretty set.
Anyone else remember where we were this time last year? Concern about our D Line, and when Coach Carl said they could be a strength of the team there was plenty of dubiousness.

Now look at us. The D Line is the foundation upon which the whole team will be built this year. And justifiably so.

Bring on the Owls! ! ! ! !

Zac Lee has made tremendous strides in taking care of the ball, making good decisions. He has also seen great development and decisions from Cody Green.

Says FAU is a really battle tested team. Has played in a lot of tough environments on the road the last few years, played in a few bowl games, they won't be stary eyed coming into Lincoln.

"How ready is Suh for the attention?" Bo, "His year will be based solely upon how he does on the field."

The notion that people will just double team Suh all the time isn't right, "that isn't football, you can't just focus on one man....You had better be ready to block 94 (Crick)" Crick getting some love.
