9/1 Press Conference

Larry says they were too inconsistant last season. He says it is because they didn't understand the D fully then. He takes that criticism personally and wants to change it.

 
Says Rusty Smith is a good QB, likes to look off defenders a lot.

FAU uses their TE's a lot and has a couple of good receivers.

 
No comment when asked about his thoughts on FAU burning the N. I think they are a little motivated by that.

 
They took the task to fix the communication breakdowns personally, they talk before each and every play now.

 
I'm pretty sure it's getting to the players what the FAU team is doing down in florida. with the whole burning of the N and stuff...

edit: getting to them in a good way, motivation is what I meant

Was asked if it was a Motivater, he said it had to be what they are doing down there is not football, they need to just show up and Play

 
Umm not sure how to say the last part. I think they are taking FAU's pre-game actions personally. Says Coach had a talk with them that Larry wouldn't repeat. I think you will read about this part soon.

I think that burning N may come back to haunt FAU. If this team gets on a roll and exacts some revenge for that, this could be an unholy massacre.
