A concert time machine pick 5

If you could go back in time to see a band or certain concert what would be your top 5?

in no particular order

1. The Who Isle of Wight festival 1970, I have watched this show a number of times on video it is just amazing IMO

2. Led Zeppelin Circa 1973-75 doesn't matter what place or show, would just love to see them at their peak of concert prowess

3 U2- Red Rocks 1983 I have a college buddy from Colorado that was at the show, he says it really was amazing

4. 1975- 1976 CBGB A night when The Ramones, Blondie, and the Talking Heads played that would be a real cool evening

5. Monterrey Pops festival 1967 Jimi Hendrix coming out party in America, Janis Joplin, Otis Redding, The Who plus everyone else that played the show. Woodstock get all the publicity but this was really the first and best rock festival.

1--I'd go back and relive the Beastie Boys/House of Pain concert at Peony Park. That concert was insane. Probably the best I've ever been too

2--Ozzy early to mid 80s

3--Metallica mid 90s

4--Beatles

5--Michael Jackson

Peony Park, there is a place I haven't thought about in a long time. Used to go to the swimming pool there occasionally when I was a kid.

I remember they did have some good shows of up and coming artist before they closed down. Early 90's right?

Not sure what the first four would be. Woodstock would be 5th. Couldn't be any higher on the list because I might not survive.

91 was for the Paul's Boutique tour. I don't know if Jump Around had even been released yet. It was a crazy show.

Queen

Michael Jackson

Guns N Roses

Woodstock

Early Motley Crue
Seen MC dozen times or so, Tommy Lee drum solos are just over the top insane. Would love to relive the Girls Girls Girls tour where the drum machine barrel rolled. I'm going to see them in Lincoln this fall. One of the last shows they will ever do.

Saw Guns with Skid Row at the Civic. That was another intense show. What could have been if Axl wasn't such an egomaniac.

1) Elvis '68 Comeback Special - The King was on it that night. I love his rendition of Baby What You Want Me To Do

2) The Who, anytime with Keith

3) The Stones circa 1969

4) Zepplin in their prime

5) SRV

Nice, I like you getting specific about years and or shows. Seeing Kiss in 1975 is way different than 1985

Yeah, I am a certifiable music junkie...

I've seen Kiss with and without the make up, and they are VERY different shows...

Exactly, I am going to see Motley Crue in July I don't expect the show to be like the Girls Girls Girls tour
