A fan gives his review of Bo. Bo takes it well.

Saban = 3 NC's = Disciplinarian

Pelini = 0 CC's, 0 NC's = Hothead

Once he wins something the perception of him will change. The caller actually had a legit question but he was too much of a d-bag to ask it in the right way.
The question was in no way legit, regardless of how it was asked. This has been a beaten-to-death issue for a month short of exactly 5 years now. Yes, since the day he was hire. In all actuality, it should be a non-issue. The ones that bring it up as a negative are the ones that only use it as a scapegoat when we struggle, and in turn try to spin it as if he's flipping out every other play. Texas AM 2010 is the only instance of being even close to that case. Chews a couple of asses, hollars at a ref or two a game and some are just trying to run with as if he's completely crazy.

Devaney yelled. Frank Solich yelled, he still does, tune into a Ohio game. Callahan didn't....Pelini does. Not the 'face' of Nebraska? Really?

The caller also, clearly is one of these Nebraska fans that only watches Nebraska games, and only half watches them. Watch any game, pro or college and coaches get in the officials ears. Hell, Dantonio did more of it than Bo did during the game last week.

And like Comish said, his face always looks mad. There was a picture (that I can't find right now) of Bo thanking fans after the Mich game, and the still shot with no context made it look like he was raging at them, which would be the exact opposite of what was actually happening.

Another part I laughed at "we dont act like that in Nebraska" Really? Come spend an afternoon in my shop guy. I guarantee you would be appalled.

After the Michigan game and heading home, my dad and I listen to the post game shows as usual (Bo's post-game show, Locker room show, and Big Red Reaction) and some caller called in from West Point on the Big Red Reaction and started bitching. This caller was bitching about Bo's recruiting, sideline behavior, bringing up the 90's, how Tom Osborne coaching days and some other things I can't remember. Seriously we just won the game and this dude goes full retard and acts like we got blown out by Michigan.

Finally Steve Taylor and the other host got sick of this caller and hung up on him after giving him 5+ minutes of air time. Wish I could remember the guys name.

I heard this last night and again on 1620 Greg sharpe and damon benning. I thought it was hilarious and bo had every right.

It was Mr. Douchebag

There used to be an old saying, "When Tom Osborne came into your living room on a recruiting trip, it was hard to say no to playing football at Nebraska." Now, I am sorry to say, from watching Bo's sideline antics, it would be hard for most recruits and parents to invite Bo into their living rooms. Maybe they could just meet him out in the driveway.

Just being a little facetious here, but what one sees on the tube on Saturdays sticks in one's mind.
Are you serious? The parents that "don't want to allow Bo in their living rooms" are probably the ones who raise spoiled little brats that couldn't spell the word discipline. I completely disagree with you here, because we have gotten some VERY good recruits and continue to get them. More games Bo wins, the more recognition he will get, the more we will have great recruits. Its hard to recruit when you are a first time head coach, unless your taking a successful program over.
JHC, read here: Just being a little facetious here

I was just adding a little humor to this thread. Now, you can crawl back on your bar stool!

Bo would be welcome into my living room on a recruiting call or just for a beer. Football is a mans sport and it requires discipline and accountability. You go ahead and prefer whiny little runts like Spurrier or Hawkins or whoever it is that you think is "nicer" than Pelini. I'll go with Bo.

Lol, that caller was a d-bag................"People in Nebraska don't act like that........." He was just trying to get a rise out of Bo.
