A little history on Michigan's fabled Winged Helme

I was asked to post some information about Michigan's famous Winged Helmet. Rather than copy and paste, I'll just post the link and let you folk follow the link.

It is quite a bit of interesting info, well maybe if you're a Michigan Wolverine. There are others that have wondered about how it came to be, and now you'll find out.

Take care and check you later.

Wait a minute. Just wait a minute. You mean to tell me they didn't pull that color scheme and design from Wolverine of the X-Men?

Show a little respect. I think it is a insightfull post besides....

"Know the enemy and know yourself; in a hundred battles you will never be in peril. When you are ignorant of the enemy, but know yourself, your chances of winning or losing are equal. If ignorant both of your enemy and yourself, you are certain in every battle to be in peril."- Sun Tzu

It may not be too important to Husker fans, but remember CU blogger's seriously believe that their helmet logo is the best design in the country!!!

I have always thought that the buffies used a stencil and hand held pressure spray can!
