A&M game

AG,

You are the perfect college football fan. We are all Red White and Blue, save your comments of hate towards different programs for the terrorists.

Every program has way more good fans than the idiots that say they represent their team. College football is a celebration of what is American, competition to the end, never say quit, the strong shall prevail, we shall overcome.

Respect our fellow Americans and never ever let us forget the losses of 9/11.

Thanks sf. I do love my college athletics. I still maintain part of the reason it was so easy to jump on the NU bandwagon when I started dating my girlfriend was that the values and type of people who attend NU are similar to those who are Aggies.

I've seen many great games at Kyle, but the REd, White, and Blue Out (as it was called) is my favorite memory of Kyle Field.

The game in Lincoln 3 years after 9/11 was my favorite. Holding up the paper from the program to make a flag out of the rest of the stadium was the coolest thing that I have been apart of.

Awesome. Thanks for the pics. On the last one in the background you can see the crane that is just starting on the Tom and Nancy Complex. Awesome!!

k ive been talkin to my buddy, and we were talkin about schools with classy fanbases, then we drifted over towards what some schools' abbreviations meant. he thought UAB was Auburn. lol i told him no its university of alabama in Birmingham. i couldnt think of what A&M meant, is it Agriculture and Military?

Back when we were AMC of Texas, it was the Agricultural and Mechanical COllege of Texas. When we changed our name to Texas A&M University, the A&M actually dropped their meaning.

So, technically, they don't stand for anything. But they USED to stand for Agricultural and Mechanical.
