A Map that Recruiting Explains

I find this really interesting and I think many people don't give this nearly enough attention when thinking about getting Nebraska back to winning championships.

Here is a very important quote from the article.

In any event, the effect has become more pronounced over time. In the BCS era to now, Tennessee and Ohio are the only states to produce champions without being or bordering the Big Three.
Now, OSU is it's own hot bed for recruiting and Tennessee won their championship in the very first year of the BCS.

So, other than the very first year of the BCS, every single other champion is either in one of the 3-4 hot bed recruiting states or borders it.

I think a major part of this is because of the recruiting calendar that has been discussed at length in another thread.
