Just finished watching the replay. I have seen it stated here that Southern Miss's defense is faster than Ucla's....no F*n way. You folks will be dazzled by our young speed. Your QB will be running for his life. And his pad high passes? There will be turnovers. Not here as a troll...see my previous posts.

Rice, yes Rice put up over 300 yards on your "speedy" defense. Our offense is at least twice as good as theirs.

Southern Miss sure seemed to play Houston faster than UCLA did last year.

I don't know about faster, but Southern Miss had a higher ranked defense last year and returned five starters to this years team. Two fewer than UCLA, and there are obvious differences in conference talent, but they're still a good defense and team.

You should edit the title to 'A point I didn't need to make'.

 
Also, Rice put up 358 yards on your defense, after ranking 87th in points per game last year, 89th in total offense, and returning only six starters. Not sure what your point is because, statistically, there's nothing for UCLA to really brag about.

 
Sooo, what the OP is saying is that, all of UCLA's problems in the past were coaching and then Mora comes along and suddenly every player runs faster and jumps higher?
