The number for Lincoln is 1978. Nebraska actually snapped a three-game home losing streak to Missouri in 1980. During that same time, the Huskers had built a three-game winning streak in Columbia that would stretch to 2003.

Yes, I am aware of that. You also said Missouri hadn't won in Lincoln since 1968. That is what I was referring to, because that is incorrect. Missouri won three straight in Lincoln in the 1970's.

Of course I will be mad...if you are not mad, you have some problems. It is an insane record to have....I was not even born the last time they won at NU.
The way college football is now, records like these will continue to fall. Look what UNC did in Miami...they did not win in Miami since the '50s (I think). There is no longer these huge gaps between programs like there was pre 2000s.
I am sure there will be some morons coming on and posting that Bo and company should be fired if they lose. Also, it would be a little harder to take if Mizzou was the same bottom dweller they were for years years, but they have made some huge gains in the past few years to be a team to reckon with not only in the Big XII, but in the nation. Who saw that coming???

When I was growing up Nebraska was the sh_t! All my young adult life I was hated on because Nebraska was unstopable (this is why a lot of people don't like USC). When Nebraska lost back in the day, I was mad for days. When they lose now, i'm over it in a couple of minutes. I don't know if that is from losing so many in the last 5 years or from growing up, I don't know. Nebraska needs this win, the fans need this win, and I need this win.
Should Missouri win, I will be disappointed. But I won't be mad. To get mad over a football game is a little over the edge.
