Bryan Munson had a video interview with Slauson. Slauson said that when he goes into a grocery store he gets frustrated when people say they're hoping for eight wins. "This isn't a rebuilding year. We're ready." He won't put a number on it, he says, but it isn't going to be eight. The last four years were a 'transitional period.'

Telling you what guys, that was raw confidence oozing in that interview.

It most definitely sounds like the kids are fired up.

The more I hear these kids talk about how amped they are and i'm hoping it translates to the field, the more i'm beginning to feel sorry for western michigan...

The confidence of this squad now is refreshing! You can see/hear it flowing through them, it's not that false sense of confidence you got from the previous regime. How that will translate on the field? Only time will tell, but I'll tell you what, it's not that much time

I just hope to GOD that this confidence carries into the VA Tech game. I live out here in Virginia and can't stand seeing all of this orange and maroon around here. I think that if we make it through Va Tech it's going to turn out to be a pretty good year.
