Aaron Green

Well Aaron is very justified in this situation.

This is speculation as we havent seen him in practice.

And even if the feeling is justified for him, it doesnt justify him opening his mouth about it. Hes not the coach. Freedom of speech does not apply.

There are more times I wanted to curse out my superiors in my years in the service than I can count, headbutt out their teeth while they were yelling in my face, but did I ever? HELL NO. Respect for authority. I shouldnt even have to explain this one.
Situation isn't even close to the same, I shouldn't have had to explain that.
You must be an overweight has-been that has never served and cant see a comparison when its right in front of you. I shouldnt have to explain that.
You mad bro?

Every game we have played has been a nail biter. Except for Minn. The coach's are always going to go with their #1 back in these situation's. Out side of Rex has anyone shown any ability to run between the tackle's, has any other back seen PT in the last 2-3 game's. Don't think Bo has anything against the other back's. Just want the best of 4 on the field. My opinion.

Is that your comeback?

Hardly. I have no problem with disagreements, Id just like to see an intelligent response as to why you feel the way you do.
No you don't, I think I would be crucified by many on this situation, to keep it short, Green should be playing way more than he does, Heard should have a redshirt, Rex should get less carries or he might die on the field, and Ameer's role is solid, returner and gets some carries, should be more involved in the screen and passing game.

Very good point.

Twice I've seen Green get absolutely beheaded trying to run between the tackles. Seriously, that kid isn't ready yet and would only get hurt. Thank God for SuperRex.

Time to shut down twitter for players.
Yes, we really need North Korea levels of control over all aspects of student athlete's lives. I am sure that everyone who's annoyed by players saying anything besides the usual PR friendly lines at pressers and interviews was a perfectly disciplined robot in their college years, had no trouble adjusting their first year, and has never been disappointed by things not working exactly like you planned.

I sure hope he stays! Maybe we should let him return some kicks! Hopefully he knows just how much Husker nation appreciates him!

Aaron is a good kid, loves Jesus and has a good head on his shoulders, but you could see this in high school too, he struggles with humility big-time. I don't blame him, as I'm sure he's had people telling him how great he is all his life, but he sure thinks highly of himself and it doesn't seem he's ever had to really learn patience until now.

I'm sure he's frustrated right now, but he's got to take a page from his brother's book, show some patience and work hard, and he'll be an impact player eventually.

If he leave's for another D-1 school he will have to sit for a year. Would take 2 years to back on the field. I think he stay's, also think he he gets way more PT next year.

lol, He loves Jesus, but has a humility problem? That is interesting. Also okay the kid was what a 4 or 5 star running back and just has not panned out. Abdullah was nobody and came in here and is contributing. Heard is contributing. It happens the 4 or 5 star players get to college and go ooh crap these guys are for real. Look at sexy rexy. He came in and destroyed his freshman year. Heard from any other running backs? If he leaves it opens up another scholarship for next year. sorry my SEC way of thinking is all.

Was it Aaron's decision or the staff's decision to not redshirt him? If the former, it's his own fault...I would put it on the staff more for not managing to get anyone a redshirt and then not using any of the 3 freshman RBs much at all.

I'm with DJR here, fact is twitter is a public medium and people will run to message boards and post what is said.

Maybe this is one way to weed out the ones that are not team players. I also thought one of them should have red shirted. Green should have been the one. Thought he could have used the time to get used to the school and learned more about the program, and being away from home. Had his brother here to bounce things off of, while he went through the transition. I think he will be a game breaker, in the next couple of years. I hope he stays and gives himself a chance to be the player a lot of us think, he can be. You can't teach speed, lets hope someone can teach him patience.

GBR!!!

I hope someone has a talk with him and tell him that is time will come, as he's got a lot of talent. He still must get more weight on him and learn to run more north south. I do agree he should have been redshirted as well.

there is a logjam of young backs wanting to play now.....if they are ready, i would hope Beck and Bo would play them, obviously, that is not the case, obviously.
