Abdelmassih Taking Leave of Absence From NU

And a post season ban for this year.
Auburn got away with a post season ban last year when they finished 13-14 and weren't going anywhere.  There have been several teams in the last 3-5 years that did that.  I think Oklahoma State did the same thing a couple of years back.

On 1620, they're saying they have been hearing rumors around the program for a few days and, if true, we should hear something later this week.

Wouldn't it suck to get in trouble for playing players when it's now legal for boosters to pay players....and we still suck?

That would be so....Nebraska.

Punishment could be admission into ncaa tournament field as a #16 seed for the next 3-5 years.  Regardless of record, so the whole world can see how bad we suck.

Source close to the program says if that is the case, Hoiberg will resign to save personal embarrassment.

In other news, the women's team is undefeated, fun to watch and are well coached.  Just watch them...if they're ever on TV.

That doesn’t necessarily mean there isn’t anything there. But, it’s encouraging.

My first thought, if this rumor is true, maybe the NCAA hasn't learned what is about to be dropped either.   Everyone will learn of the violation at the same time.   lol

Or, the NCAA knows about it and are sitting back saying….how the f#&% is that bad of a team cheating?
