Look at Notre Dame under Weiss. Then look at their schedule. Talent matters, but it can be totally undone by bad coaching.

most of callahan's inherited talent was on defense. the offensive guys may have been somewhat better off in the old scheme, but outside of cory ross, herian and maybe a couple of the linemen, there just wasn't much talent there period. i certainly don't think dailey would have been good in any system. he was quick, but he wasn't a particularly effective runner. he did have to play with a pretty awful line in front of him, which is amazing considering the OL guru we had for a coach. :LOLtartar
