Absinthe

good luck finding it anywhere. To the best of my knowledge, it was banned for sale until recently, and may still be in many states. I know the liquor dept where I work does not carry it.

 
I tried it when I was in Prague, where it is legal and they have several "real" brands. To be honest, it didn't work for me, and it tasted like utter crap.

I read a Maxim article that said you should be sober if you want any of the hallucinogenic effects, so you may want to take that into consideration.

Anything you will be able to buy wont have the hallucinogenic materials. For what its worth, wikpidia listed there were 2 brands that could be legally sold in the US, but it didnt specify by state.

 
I had some about 3 years ago that some guy had imported from Europe(the real deal) and it got me f'd up.
