"F*** you, fans. F*** all of you. F*** 'em."How do you know bhamhusker is one of the fans Bo's comments were directed at? That is misappropriation. I noticed you didn't dispute that you were overstating. Good thing, since someone who thinks the entire fan base was hated and verbally abused probably can't help it.How is that a misappropriation, exactly? He verbally abused and criticized the fans while creating a clear culture of distrust between the team and fan base. There's nothing wrong or dishonest about what I said, but nice try.For someone who claims to not care what Bo thinks, you seem to give enough credence to overstate and misappropriate a past grumbling of hisIs this really necessary? Who cares what Bo thinks. He did himself no favors to retain the head coaching position at Nebraska and hated you (the fan).Bo was right about this much: Eichorst is a total pu&&y and a c&&t.
Forgive me if I don't give substantial credence to the grumblings of a man whose been fired.
To rehash a fired coach's sentiments towards his former boss is petulant and irrelevant at this point, and the fact that one of our own fans is reverberating his disgusting language is ridiculous.
Your second paragraph has a point, but is impeded by your hypocrisy in the first, and your earlier post.
I would guess Eichorst/Riley & co think that. But, I doubt it's on the magnitude of Bo.Hey...if you think Riley and his staff like the fans right now...you are crazy
If you had read my whole post contextually, you would've understood that I didn't think Bo actually had a hatred for each singular fan.Stop and think about how stupid that sounds. Why would anyone get upset at the fans who actually supported them?
It was obvious he was talking about ALL the fans who booed at halftime and left early. I can't believe people are still bringing this up.
He did not have a dislike for the fanbase as a whole. He loved the fans who actually supported the team.
(Sorry, if you need this little fantasy to help you sleep at night or something, go ahead and keep believeing it.)
Thanks for clarification. That makes more sense. If you had read my whole post contextually, you would've understood that I didn't think Bo actually had a hatred for each singular fan.Stop and think about how stupid that sounds. Why would anyone get upset at the fans who actually supported them?

Because I didn't spell it out in the ABC's of the English language - fine, I will: I don't think Bo Pelini hated every single individual fan in this fan base. I believe, as a whole, he had a dislike for the fans. These are two very different things, and, he likely did have an appreciation for his supporters.
I have a general dislike for Green Bay Packers fans, but, that doesn't mean I despise every single one.
We keep in rebuilding mode since Frank left. He's trying to defend his hire (which he has to lest he lose his own job) and keep the fans in the stands. I think that's all this really boils down to.He must be getting pressure from the administration or boosters and that's why he released this statement, if it was just pressure from the fans I can't imagine him caring enough to have one of his assistants type a letter.
This is the most shocking part of it all. I think most people, myself included, believed this was not a rebuild hire. Many of us felt that Nebraska had hit a ceiling and just needed the last push to get over the edge.Ya, I don't get it. Rebuild?? Why the hell are we rebuilding? There was plenty of talent here to win 7-10 games this year
I expected growing pains. I believed a 6-7 win season was possible but that we wouldn't sink much lower than that. I believe even the coaches didn't foresee this, particularly when Riley said around the time of the BYU game that this was the most "talented" team he ever coached. If that's the case, why have they performed so poorly?
The other side to this is that completely changing coaching staffs and a culture does not always work as fast as you want it to. In hindsight, any expectations of winning 9 or 10 games was probably wrong.
I think what we're seeing right now is a confluence of everything we all chose to ignore - the possibility that the talent, coaching, culture and expectations were not going to be even remotely on the same page.
exactly. By no means do I want Bo back, he needs to stay tf away from Nebraska, but let's be honest, he would have without a doubt went 10-4 or 9-4 with this team again. It's just what he did.Ya, I don't get it. Rebuild?? Why the hell are we rebuilding? There was plenty of talent here to win 7-10 games this year
