It is relevent because it would have been a huge momentum swing. Your logic is like saying "we intercepted the ball but couldn't score, so we punted, then we punted back, and then we scored... so it all worked out."

Agree with you 100%... but I still don't think the play was irrelevant just because we stil scored. A score right after a fumble recovery would have been very big

Getting the ball at the 3 yd line is not irrelevant. It would have set NU up for bigger things as the game wore on (same w/ the fumble on the KR later in the game).

Exactly!!! We just seemed to have bad luck in the almost turnover market last night.

It looked to me like he had shared possession of the ball before 500 other guys piled on top. I thought it was a BS call, and I think the neighbor's got the jist of my frustrations.
