ADMIT IT!!

I didn't (I did against Oklahoma State, though).

I remembered our comeback ability from last season and thought, "Aw, shucks, why not leave it on? You never do know . . ."

I doubt very many of the people around here that complain turned off the TV. I will say the only reason they keep them on was so they could find things to complain about.

I had to go outside and listen on the radio. After we blocked the field goal attempt, I told myself I couldn't go back in. I didn't want to jinx us. 40 years old, and still worry about the jinx!! I listened to the end, 5 seconds away from my 50" tv. GO BIG RED!!!!!!!!!!
okay, off topic and probably not productive....but....

N Bug-

what's up with posting that picture almost everytime you post?

I'm just confused because I see it a lot.

Why not just use a signature with the pic?

okay, sorry....just wondering. back on topic......

so, how many of you turned of the game at some point?

after the int I turn my TV off for like a minute. then thought " what kind of a fan am I?" I listened to the whole T tech game 2 years ago I am going to watch this. so glad I did!!
I didn't turn off the tv but when Hodge intercepted Taylors pass, I yelled "G** D*****!!" and walked away from the tv to smoke a cigarette. Imagine my surprise (pleasant surprise mind you) to see us holding aTm and us getting the ball back.

Watched the whole thing. Said to myself if they make this fg the game is over. A block later and i knew we still had life. Wasn't real optimistic about the game when we had the ball w/ over 7 minutes left, burned 4 minutes off the clock and only had like 15 yards to show for it. Pulled it out in the end. Great win, great, throw, great catch.

The Department of Redundancy Department sign is better?

N Bug, keep the photo.

Ya'll think watching the Tech game on tv in '03 is bad? I was at that game and sat through the entire thing..me and my parents were the only Huskers left in our section at the end..I have to say it almost made me sick..but everytime I get the chance to make in to a game I will sit through the entire thing because I only make about 3-4 a year and usually 1-2 are on the road and the bowl game..and yes I was at this game and actually thought about leaving after the pick but couldn't do it..I was in the 1st row in the endzone where we blocked the fg and was surrounded by aggie fans but I was still goin crazy..this was one of the best games I've been to in person..but I still think the Alamo Bowl from last year beat it..I almost passed out at that game

i know the feeling OH. i was at the 19-0 ASU loss and sat there as everyone around me was heading to the stairs. it was my sons birthday present, he asked if we were going to leave also and i told him "no, that is not how you support the team" and we stayed to the end.

another thing that really pissed me off about that game, was when someone wearing a #15 NU jersey stormed the field and helped tear down the goal posts.

but back to the thread, i did not turn off my tv, i was only able to watch the 2nd half and was thinking that i jinxed the Huskers when aTm started the comeback. when they took the lead i really thought that it was my fault but i am glad that i didnt turn it off, what a come back

...My roomate kept asking to change the channel (he doesn't care for football) and I put the remote down my pants. That stopped his questions about changing it.
I don't think your roomate will ever want that remote in his hands again!
exactly the point

;)

Man.. <_<

I'm Way too homophobic to trust a guy that doesn't like Football, not to dive in my jammies for a loose remote!

Hey Rob..

I was at that "Nineteen ta Nuthin" game too..They still show clips from that game on the local sports shows' commercials and voted it one of the top 3 games that made their program...Plus at least one station replays the whole game every season at some point.

I went with my Brother and his two kids..I left my seat a few times to walk the kids to the bathroom and to use bad words, but We stuck around.

Probably the last game I went to, though..I think we've lost 4 of the last 5 games I attended..Started to feel like a jinx, meself.

I've been known to change shirts or even TV's if we're playing bad just to help us out..Superstitious?

I was pretty frustrated with the 2nd half but I knew ZT would not give up and we have some great weapons. I kept watching and hoping. That final drive was awsome to watch.

I won't let my wife watch the games with me and my sons. Every time she does something bad happens.

GBR!!!
