I don't find it hard to believe.  Scott could still thank him for giving it his best but its been 4 yrs and he is going in a different direction.  Going with Smothers but also bringing in a Transfer.

Yeah dude might not be able to throw a ball until summer and even then might not be 100% by fall camp. If that’s the case we would need to move forward without him.

Honestly, our freshman QB came in cold and played an Adrian Martinez kinda game almost note for note against Iowa.

I no longer think Nebraska needs Adrian to have a chance next year. I think our chances will be the same with Logan Smothers.

We must move on from AM.  He wasn’t the problem, but not the solution either.  7 wins should be the minimum with next year’s schedule.  That’s not happening with anyone on the roster now.  Maybe the new OC can help bring a good portal QB.
