If we can lose to Northwestern, Wisconsin could whack us again. I'd just as soon as have MSU win out so we can avoid getting killed again by Wisconsin. We just aren't ready for the next level this season. Next year will be our year.

 
Er, you guys obviously didn't watch the UW game b/c it was on at the same time as the NU game but ours wasn't that pretty either. Special teams played like crap...and the defense was less than impressive the first half. Offense only looked good because it was Purdue...fans left halfway through the third...

I was thinking that too..maybe even worse would be facing tOSU again..They seem to have gotten mucho better since we last met.

Might even get a better bowl game by not making the B10CC (and losing bad).

But losing to NW feels a lot like losing to Kansas..It still counts, right? (I'd feel much worse if we lost to Iowa for some reason).
