Air Force Huskers

If you are a Husker fan and are currently in the Air Force (active, reserve, guard, dependent, etc.) or are a retired member please leave a post on here! A few things that you might want to include are-

1. Years Served

2. Duty Status (Active, Reserve, Guard, etc.)

3. Where are you stationed?

4. Enlisted or Officer?

Hopefully a few other Air Force Members respond so we can get our own page!

1. I served 8 years in the USAF.

2. Honorable Discharge.

3. I was stationed at Andrews AFB MD, Kunsan AB ROK, and Goodfellow AFB Texas. I was a Military Working Dog Handler. I also pulled MANY TDY's all over the world. Probably my most memorable TDY was Moscow Russia. My worst TDY was Riyad AB. I arrived 5 days before some sorry SOB's decided to kill many GI's in the cowardless act of terrorism. The Kobart Towers Bombing.

4. I was enlisted. I have met many great men and women while serving this great nation of ours. Many I still keep in touch with and many I will never forgot!

Hey all you Air Force Huskers,

Just wanted to update you, I am now a Staff Sgt. and have moved to Ellsworth AFB in Rapid City, SD. If any of you are near here shoot me a message.

I'm currently a Maintenance Scheduler but am anticipating a reply on my SERE cross-training package.

Originally from Omaha, graduated HS from Gretna. Married a kick-a$$ husker chick from Kearney. She's prior service, 12-1/2 year AF Medic! We have three Husker kids, 2 boys (13 & 6) and one girl (9).

We were able to watch last weekend's game at Fox & Hound. Great atmosphere, Great wait staff. Haven't been to Touchdowns yet. Heard Fox & Hound has bigger TVs.

I'm originally from Norfolk, work as a 2S (Supply) and have been married for 10 years. I have been stationed in Missouri, Korea (twice) Georgia (Robins), Okinawa, Japan and my current base in Virginia for the last year.
