I hope this game sees Lateef get significant playing time. I'd feel a lot more confident about our season if I see evidence that QB#2 can run this offense.

That's the way I feel about Nelson, Ives, or Mozee. Someone has to take some of the burden off of EJ plus they probably need to find a big back to fill the Dowdell role at times with short yardage. These next two games are a big opportunity to find out depth in a game situation.

Willis Macgahee needs to get 3rd and long snaps like Williams last year. Seemed like anytime he was on the field he was making plays and causing problems. He's a gamer.

First game of the season That's a tough rehab as well.

Really? To me, he looked like he was getting pushed up field in his pass rush and over pursued on the reverse.

Well the reverse was 1st and 10 and he got heal depth and ran down the line like he's probably supposed to and it's a trick play so I'll cut him some slack on that one. I only recall him being in for one other play which was also a run. I'll have to go back to the film.
