Alex Henry For Heisman?

Five-Star Recruit
We are really lucky we have such a good placekicker/punter. Henry is the reason we even scored, kinda sad that we couldn't punch in a td all day from the likes of the 1,2, and 3 yard lines...That being said hats off to henry for stepping up and keeping us in the game to the wire. I wish he would have been givin another chance to hit a fg from 60+out if we could have gotten him in range on that last drive.

At least learn how to spell his name......
No need to be a jerk jesus, Sorry to the entire husker nation for forgetting the other E, if you feel the need i will allow you each to throw one stone at me and then you can all cruicify me in the name of Henery.

The whole and only reason I even made this post is A. I haven't seen anyone giving love to Henery from this weekends game. and B. Because without him we would have lost 16-0 now I'm not saying we wouldn't have had another kicker that woulda made those kicks but he also got us out of some pretty bad situations punting wise. Also how bout that 76 yard punt...this guy has skill.

:clap

He has gotten love on the board, personally i would've liked to see that rubgy style kick he had.

The guy is phenomenal on special teams, but Heisman, really? :-) How about settling for whatever award is given for special teams player of the year? (if there is one...is there one, don't think I've ever heard of it?)

Haha the Title may be a little rediculous but man, if this guy keeps scoring all our points I say give him the hardware.... :sarcasm :sarcasm :sarcasm :sarcasm (for all you that can't take a joke)

He definitely deserves a pat on the back. The game notes on Huskers.com pretty much only talk about his stats. He didn't have to do anything too difficult considering all the chances he had to rack up stats, but still very well done. No question, one of the best kickers in college.

They should just give him the Groza award now...

If only Lee would have handled the crowd noise as well as he did....Grrrrrrrrr

A kicker will never win the Heisman...even if he kicks 65 yarders ever week at the last minute to win the game. They are minor players in the big scheme of things (but we know better).

if alex (scared to spell his last name wrong) keeps kicking the way he has for the last couple of years, he has a great chance to win the groza award.

the one question that i think about every week is whether adi kunalic will get a job in the nfl just being a kickoff specialist.
