Minter was the man..but Byrd was lethal....and I loved watching Coop play....Slidell Louisiana produced some atheletes in the late 80s

Had to go with Minter. But I have a special spot for Bret Clark. Bret was from Nebraska City. His late father played at Peru and taught my sons at Southeast Consolidated School, Stella, NE. And Bret's son, Tyson Clark, will be a walk-on receiver this fall.
