Hooked on Huskers
All-Conference
Good idea except I prefer wearing "white shoes" (famous Houston Oilers Bill Johnson)If I was a player, I would be rocking the black under thermals. Show no skin lol. In other words, completely blacked out lol

Same with current Herbie, I want the old Herbie Husker back!I am not a huge fan of Lil Red. Rather send him back to the drawing board personally lol
I can live with the current Herbie way more than I can with Lil Red lolSame with current Herbie, I want the old Herbie Husker back!I am not a huge fan of Lil Red. Rather send him back to the drawing board personally lol
Me too, but my mom loved it (rest in peace).I am not a huge fan of Lil Red. Rather send him back to the drawing board personally lol
I think Lil Red came because of other sports like Volleyball, and then got introduced to football, because he attracted the younger crowds. I can see that, but I just think the bobble head is obnoxious lolMe too, but my mom loved it (rest in peace).I am not a huge fan of Lil Red. Rather send him back to the drawing board personally lol
And probably focus on kids.
We have a traditional look that doesn't go out of style. These XXXTREME uniforms are a temporary trend and they're gonna look f'ing stupid in 5-10 years.HuskerThor said:I would love to buck tradition on the uni's. It's the 21st century and time to get with it. I to would like to see the "N" removed from the front and a number put there. Those uni's are badass and its time for a change. Just think if we would have stuck with the original uni's and never evolved. We would look stupid right now, kinda like the Steelers and their throwback crap.
Tradition. What is that really? Does that really involve uniforms?
I remember for the first two seasons in late '90 era, I admit I enjoyed 'Lil Red showI think Lil Red came because of other sports like Volleyball, and then got introduced to football, because he attracted the younger crowds. (Wikipedia source): Since its installment, Lil' Red has won two major awards. The first was the national championship at the NCAA National Mascot Competition in 1999. The second one was an induction into the 2007 Mascot Hall of Fame
Your so right. Our traditional look will always be the best. When I walk by a TV and see our regular jerseys, I know right away who it is, and that's the way it should be. Okl St, T Tech, come out in the all black and some others as well. You have to stop and try to see the logo's, or find the box score. Our all red ones are even worse. If they feel they have to add a little change here and there, then the school needs to make sure that Scarlet and Cream make up 50% of what ever they have the team wear. jmhoWe have a traditional look that doesn't go out of style.
