Ameer for Heisman

The best thing we could do is shelve Ameer's Heisman campaign for a few weeks, fix our internal problems, and win some games. Let Ameer be Ameer, but use the passing game, have Tommy keep more of those Zone "Reads" and get everyone's focus off Ameer.

 
AA currently #3 in the country in rushing yards (the top four are all in the B1G - Coleman, Gordon, AA, Cobb).

He is currently #2 in the country in rushing TDs - #1 in the Power 5

That last stat is huge.

Besides the team winning, obviously, I thought that was going to be his biggest struggle numbers wise for being considered a legitimate contender, because in the past Imani always gets those 1-2 yarders.

Not to mention, he is showing versatility with KR duties. This year, with all the crap going on with the NFL (domestic abuse) and college stuff (Gurley/Winston) AA is a great character kid and great "feel good" story.
