An Invite to The Den

All I have to say is good luck to the Arkansas St fans. Looks like the few who came over here to chat with us are good people and knowledgable about the game. I hope for a good game and no injuries on either side. Ok i'm boased and think NU will win big, but you never can tell, goig to work on being humble this year after eating crow last year for the V Tech game.

Welcome to the board and hope you stick around throughout the season to BS with us.

News at 11, crazy banana rides off on the green thingy with 4 legs..... Apparently what happens in Vegas doesn't always stay in Vegas.

Wow, pretty active forum for a Sun Belt team. Great to see the passion from the Red Wolf fans. I hope you guys pound Iowa. That would be a beautiful thing.

We have one of the oldest sites going anywhere. Way back in the day there was no independent boards and a Little Rock TV station started boards for ASU, UA and others (1996, ages ago). That got out of hand so the TV station got rid of it. The UA folks went to a new site that later sold out to someone who took it the new Rivals. I led the ASU folks off to SportsOnly. Then in 1999 over to Delphi. All this time the news part of the site was on Geocities. We got a nice offer from the old Rivals after a year at Delphi and moved there. Before they bellied up they had added audio streaming and we actually held the rights to ASU audio streaming and games were carried live on our site until Rivals cut off streaming to save money shortly before going bankrupt.

We built an independent site (I was one of the smarter ones and refused to turn my domain name over to those bozos) and in April 2001 we launched as an independent site. Rivals bounced a check to me so I declared a breach of contract and was able to go live before the Rivals servers got turned off. Others had to wait until then to move and several had their domains tied up before they could get them back.

We've been a fully independent site for just over 8 years now and you won't see the site on Scout or Rivals again as long as I'm able to run it because I can use better software without worrying about how well it scales across 300 sites.
