since the recent changes, any animated gifs are well, not animated. Is it just me or an issue with the board.

Yeah - I see them also, and there is animation. Try clearing your browser cache and see if that does the trick.

They are working now, I was on my brothers computer at the time. Strange that they worked on other sites and not HB.
