Another Realignment Idea: Five 16-Team Leagues

Four conferences is the right amount. Forget the ACC. If you are not in the big four (PAC, Big 12, Big Ten and SEC) then you will be out. Each one needs 16 teams so if you want to be in the top division, you need to get in now. Otherwise, you are going to stay in the lesser division.

Sixty four team in four (conferences = divisions) forming the new College Sports League).

 
What is the impetus to bail the ACC and Big 12 out of their respective limbos? Let one or both of them self destruct and the B1G might come away with Oklahoma.
