Exactly, which is why I said I think that term is misused quite often to imply something it isn't. I look at identity as a goal. Having a goal doesn't make you who you are - what you do to reach that goal does. Other people look at identity and think it's a how-to guide. I don't believe it is.The identity thing is an overanalysis of the offense. Did TO worry about the identity of his offense? Only in the past few years where an offense of a football team is under a microscope from us here on the board, to the jackasses at ESPN. You can't just hand an offense the ball, and they'll go out and score. It's one of the more complex things in sports and therein is the beauty of it, the fundamentals, the ability to execute. From the line, all the way to the skill players, it takes a tremendous amount of teamwork.
I care far more about the doing and not the goal.
