Anybody ever watch that show 'Coach' back in the day?

During the opening credits, it had a football that said "Nebraska St." on it...

anybody know what that was all about? I always wondered...

And i suppose i put this in the wrong section anyways...

 
The show didnt use many real colleges. I havnt seen that show in forever, I dont remember the Nebraska St. thing.

Plus nebraska st lost according to that football.

Must have been a prediction of the BC era...

All this time I thought Cally was with the University of Nebraska - Lincoln when he was really at Nebraska St. This is great news. Last game I remember is the Huskers winning a bowl with Bo Pelini as Interim Head Coach and now he's Head coach. What a relief.

T_O_B your in Sioux Falls? I used to live in Sioux City and work for Orion foods out of S.F. Ever hear of Grahams Grill in Dakota Dunes? I opened that and trained the staff. Love the Dunes course too!! :corndance

 
I've seen that one or twice at 2 am when I haven't been able to sleep :lol: It could be UNO but I'm probably wrong.

I grew up in Sioux City. Moved to Omaha after 'Nam and got transferred up here in '79. I used to run the golf course here that host's the Orion Classic every year. We had a Graham's Grill on the course for awhile but it didn't seem to go over real well. Probably because of the grumpy old woman who ran the place. I agree the Dunes course is great wish I got to play it a little more often. One thing about working at a golf course, you don't get to play much golf.

I love the show....as we all know the colleges are not real. Although, there is a Minnesota State University now! And since it said Nebraska State lost, there is no way they mean NU!! When that show was at its prominence, NU was dominating everyone!
