I live in Louisiana and I just used Orbitz to book my airplane tickets, hotel and rental car. Saved quite a bit doing that.

My bud KChusker and I are once again making our bowl trip. We have made many trips, but this time, we are taking the wives and son. So, count on at least 5 more headed to Jacksonville.
Also, I live in a small town in southwest Iowa, and I know for a fact that there are at least 15 people from our town headed down. Gotta love the Husker faithful.
I was reading on the "plan it" thread, and saw the bar that will be the big red "Hang out"...... We should try to have a Huskerboard "happy hour" during the day on the 31st. Something early afternoon, so we can catch the Big Red Pep rally at the landing and possibly the parade.

I hope there's a huge turnout at the game of us husker fans! Me, my wife, 3 buddies, and my dad are all going. We're making the 22 1/2 hr drive from Columbus, NE but it shouldn't be too bad switching off drivers. Then we got hotel reservations 2 rooms. I think price wise we did really good.
$60 each game ticket
$20 a person for the hotel rooms
$50 a person for gas
$100 a person for beer, food, souvineers, etc
So $130 per person plus misc stuff. We can't wait! GBR!!!
