Anybody have a tree fall on their house lately?

The "ice storms" around Kearney have caused alot of trees to just suddenly split down the middle and branches, etc. Tree parts laying around everywhere. Yesterday I went home for lunch, and my tree to the south had split down the middle, and a huge f%&k$in' branch was lying in the yard. then last night I got into the shower, and about a minute later I hear my roomate yelling, "Matt your not gonna like this!" I figured for the worst, got lucky second half of the tree fell. The damn thing barely missed my awning, and tore down some of my gutter. I can't even leave by the front door without having to walk around a fricin' tree!!!

P.S. Who has the chainsaw?

:asshat

I remember when I was a kid there was a bad ice storm here in Des Moines and trees were doing that allover the place along with power lines and light poles!!!! It was pretty cool for a kid though because I could walk on top of the snow!!!!

No trees but, we got 33 inches of snow here in Aurora, CO. I spent the whole day shovlin' and I am still snowed in.

I've got a chain saw and I am about out of fire wood since I've been hermeted up in my apt for the last 2 days because of the 2 feet of snow. Never fear though, I will get out of the parking lot, finish my christmas shopping and head home to my parents house tomorrow. The weather can't keep me down for too long.
