i don't know if this was posted yet or not but, how about bringing out the field goal unit and going for about a 57 yard FG? i know Congdon does not have a strong leg (that's obvious) but a 21MPH wind will help anyone. i read this in the OWH, thoughts?

I didn't know what was going on until the second pass into the EZ my tv blacked out for a bit. meh Couldn't ask for my money back for missing 30 seconds of the game just happened to be kinda pivotal. Don't know the odds as to which would have been the better choice. Now it doesn't matter. Thoughts to ponder.

From what I have been told. The Flags at the top of the stadiums were blowing hard. BUT the Flags on the Goal Post were not at that time.

I doubt he would of made it. I don't think there is anyone on the Team that could hit it.

agreed. The flags on the posts weren't moving that much. Could have tried with someone else, but Zac got it to the endzone. It wasn't like we didn't have a chance. Hell; Purify was actually close to catching the deflection. I don't think we had a chance in hell of getting a field goal.

From what I saw there was almost no way he could have made it!!! The wind was swoorling more than anything so it wasn't hitting the field coming straight out of the North. We'll have another shot at these guys and hopefully it will be just as good as a game, but with a NU win!!!! :thumbs

If Congdon couldn't put the opening kickoff in the endzone with the wind at his back, I don't think he could have made a 57yd field goal.

That wind was deceiving. Texas' kicker came up short on a 40 yard attempt. It appeared the wind was at his back. I think there is no way a 58 yard field goal would have been feasible saturday.
