You don't lose anything until you sell. At the end of the game, you either win or you have empty pockets. Talk about market volatility, try rooting for a second string QB to tack on a meaningless touchdown in the waning seconds to cover the spread. Grab the pepto...Yeah...lots smarter if you invest your money someplace safe like the stock market.....Sure, send me what you plan on flushing down the toilet, I'll hold it for a few days and send half of it back to you. 50% return is better than 0.
Honestly, unless you have piles of cash to lose, I would not get started on online gambling. Way too easy to get suckered in. My cousin's ex-husband lost $500,000 on internet gambling. Some can make some money on it, but bookies/the house always take the rake in the end.
