Armstrong is B1G Co-Offensive Player of the Week

Really happy with the way TA has been playing this year. Without Tommy, NU would be in a world of hurt this year.

I thought he should be, I don't understand that statement. Most teams are usually in a world of hurt without the QB that is playing at that level, aren't they?

I agree. I have seen this statement a lot whenever we have a star player. Doesn't make much sense to me.

I'm guessing he means with how much Tommy has improved from last season. I agree, glad to see him having a good season so far, in spite of all the drops receivers have had. I think he looks quite a bit improved from last season.

Hell yes! Way to go Tommy!

I knew he could be this guy. Awesome to watch him finally reaching his potential. He's got more in the tank. Just a junior. I hope he keeps it up the rest of the year, and next year is gonna be freaking spectacular.

Tommy is the best player on the team, and the most complete QB we've had for a long time. I hope his teammates recognize the opportunity they have for success with Tommy playing so well at the critical QB position.

I was shocked to learn this was Tommy's FIRST TIME being recognized as the Big Ten (co-)Offensive Player of the Week. That's crazy.

I was skeptical of Tommy being able to run Riley's WCO but I was wrong.

One thing is yet to be seen though, and that is if he can handle all the pressure from the Big Ten DLInes and blitzing backers. I think his ceiling is high but it depends heavily on the performance of our OLine going forward.

What I am saying is there will be games against a good front 4 where we will wonder where the non conference TA is.

I agree with this. We could have Peyton Manning back there but if our O line doesn't protect him, he will not look good.

Must admit, I was not high on Tommy the past couple of years. But this off season, he obviously busted his butt, made huge strides in improvement. Very happy for him. His efforts will help others I think
