Armstrong Wins Holder of the Week

Who comes up with these awards? I mean great, he did his job and it's pretty cool that it was his first game action and all but damn, is it too much to expect a holder to not screw up any of 5 attempts? I'm sorry but this seems an awful lot like a consolation participation ribbon. Maybe I'm just in a mood...

I'm pretty sure - but too lazy to look it up - that it was an internet vote thing.  And shockingly Nebraska won.

It was created as a spoof by the award's first recipient and namesake.  Peter Mortell was a punter (and holder) for Minnesota.

It's fun.
