Arrival/Departure List 2022-23

Hey y'all, newcomer here (NU grad)... anyone else notice Michael Lynn not listed on 2023 (early) roster? Anything happening there or just an oversight, maybe... few other walk-ons gone but not as significant.

 
Can't complain about veteran OL additions.   I'd take at least two more while we're at it.

Interesting that you bring that up. On3 does not have him on their updated roster despite him never entering the portal. Also, he is not on the official roster on the Huskers website. He might be moving on and waiting to announce after bowl season or possibly doing the academic scholarship that they have done in the past.

Lynn has already been at NU a few years and hasn’t seen much playing time. He could be close to or already has graduated, so he may look to leave NU for his final 1-2 seasons.

One of the On3 guys (can’t remember which one) said they were fairly certain he wasn’t actually on the team all year. Also last summer we were actually at 86 scholarships and Frost said something to the effect of “don’t worry about it”. So it would make sense that he’s actually been gone for a while. I believe he may have “medically retired”, basically stays on scholarship until he graduates just not on the team. Probably not looking to transfer anywhere.

Thanks, all- yeah, noticed in On3's scholarship chart Lynn, Sanford & Feist weren't listed... feel like the latter two would've needed to have their's renewed, maybe? (And Feist has talked about leaving, too...) Always intrigued by those scholarship numbers this time of year! (Esp. with us having more guys coming! Exciting times.)

As far as I know, Sanford and Feist have not been on scholarship.  Unless they got one of those spring-semester scholarships.

Yeah it makes you think they are leaving bc they want to not bc they used up their eligibility and forced to go. 

 
One of my favorite Brewington memories was when Grant ran that guy over from Rutgers and Chancellor stood and looked like he needed to know if he should file a police report
