So how does that work if they have a scholarship? Seems like the player can jump the team by going to the portal but the coach is stuck wt an unproductive player due to scholarship. They basically will say "hey, it's going to be tough for you to see the field here, we can try and help you get somewhere to play more or if you want to stay we can get you on a medical scholarship and you can continue going to school."
