They're getting paid for the next year - WOWT had a graphic that they'll help with recruiting.
I would imaginge TO will give them a fair shot to interview with the new hire.

I can guess that Watson will interview for the HC job.
Doubt he will get it, but it would help to retain recruits.

This is totally dependent on the new coach. As Osborne said, they're technically "available" since as of right now NU has no football program, no coaches, no games, no nothing. Once the HC gets here everything will rocket back into motion. I imagine he'll have a staff in mind when he gets the first interview, he'll discuss that staff and their potential with Osborne, and then from there they'll plug holes with the present staff as necessary. I can see Watson staying on, possibly Jordan (though it's a long shot). Maybe a few others. On defense I see no good reason to keep a single one. The whole defense sucked, sucked, sucked this year. And it would have last year, too, if it wasn't for Carricker and Moore.

maybe i missed this part of the pc? but i'm pretty sure that what i heard was that BC was the only one fired, all other assistants were still on staff atm and would be allowed to interview under the next HC

As of today all the a$$. coaches are fired also. Oz said they could stay and interview with the new coach. I also heard that Coz has already walked.
ah, yeah, i don't think coz has to worry about being interviewed, except maybe to clean out the players lockers.
