I said this before but it beats repeating. When Venables was a OU he was starting to take some heat for his defenses. When you play high powered spread offenses week in and week out you are going to give up some points. This doesn’t mean I’m giving Chin a pass, but Scott has worked with him, they have great chemistry apparently so he let’s see what happens. 

Yeah the gave up some points yesterday, but they also brought a lot of pressure and forced clutch turnovers. I think we’ll be ok

It has nothing to do with his ties and everything to do with how Stolenburg played out of his natural position and also the play of Stille. He's developed good players during his time here and I think he is a good positional coach 

 
On 590 today, they said that 6 coaches will be coming with Scott from UCF.  They didnt list names but were pretty confident in it.
