ATH Brandon Powell [Florida - Signed LOI]

Bo, Beck, and Brown had an in-home with Powell today.

Powell said he has been watching a lot of the Huskers games this year and thinks he could fit in the offense the same way as Abdullah but faster. Strap a cheetah on his back, and he will be ready to go.

Brandon Powell, a 5-foot-9, 167-pound running back from Deerfield Beach, Fla., who verbally committed to Miami. He's now strongly considering NU. He's a tough runner in the mold of Abdullah. I really like the Huskers' chances to nab Powell

Not surprising. Powell is their 'commit' to lose, so if the Huskers are talking visits and trying to get an official here, they better take notice.

Folks, stay on topic, no personal attacks. And, additionally, let's show at least a little class; insulting recruits goes too far. Finally, I'm going cleaning up this topic, so if your post is suddenly missing - now you know why.

 
He is the type of athlete you can never had enough of. He has some serious speed that I would love to have on our team. We may have a lot of RB in Ameer, Newby, Cross, Taylor, etc but he would be huge to add.
