These are the kinds of players I absolutely love.

1. He has good height at 6'2".

2. At 172 lbs that means he can easily gain 20-25 lbs in a college's strength and conditioning program and get even faster and stronger.

3. He's versatile, can play either offense or defense as well as return punts and/or kick-offs.

ESPN gives him a 74. They also have tape and say:

Wilson is a solid two way player as a wideout and defensive back. He is tall and physically impressive. A big target as a receiver; natural height makes him easy to go to for the quarterback. Possesses very sure hands and can jump to get even higher to make him even more of an offensive weapon. Shows the ability to run short, intermediate and deep routes with equal ability and doesn't mind taking a hit after the reception. Not a speed wideout but a true possession receiver that is the go to guy. Fade route in the red zone should be golden. More.

Sorry, I always seem to zoom in on that kind of thing - but what the hell is un-natural height?

It's painful and slow, but can make you five inches taller. Jonathan Watts on the surgical trend sweeping China - leg-lengthening

So Gattaca is actually happening now?

Wide receiver / defensive back Julian Wilson received a scholarship offer from Oklahoma after performing well at the program's camp and now the Sooners lead for his signature, ESPN affiliate Web site OUInsider.com reports.
