Eric the Red
Team HuskerBoard
Player: Felix Jones
Hometown: Tulsa, OK
Position: Ath
Height: 5’10”
Weight: 197
40 time: 4.4
Visit Date: 11/26/04
Scholarships offered: Nebraska and Texas A&M
Favorites: Nebraska and Texas A&M
Rankings/Stars:
Rivals: #20/***
Insiders: NR/***
Assessing the talent: He broke his ankle his junior season which probably accounts for the lack of attention being shown to Jones. He can absolutely fly. He’s got some bulk too.
Odds of becoming a Cornhusker: 35% I just have a problem thinking that if a kid has his heart set on RB, he will commit to NU now. But if he’s willing to try a new position, NU has a better shot. This kid though might be good to get, just so we can pluck another one out of Sooner territory. Oklahoma has shown some late interest on him and moving in. Hopefully this will be our fourth Oklahoma commit after we get Reggie Smith.
