i guess I didnt see the old days as 50 years ago. I saw them as 20 years ago. I'd still say that a 23,000 dollar salary in 1972 was a pretty good chunk of change.
It's the equivalent of $414,511.58 today according to this inflation calculator. http://www.bls.gov/data/inflation_calculator.htmi guess I didnt see the old days as 50 years ago. I saw them as 20 years ago. I'd still say that a 23,000 dollar salary in 1972 was a pretty good chunk of change.
Do we really need to pay for cars and country club memberships for people that are making hundreds of thousands (in some cases, in the millions) per year?I don't understand the need for cuts, it can't be for money, as the thing in the paper showed our football program being well in the black as well as the entire athletic department, and we aren't receiving our full allotment from the big 10 yet.
There were also cars (and no memberships) of some making $40,000-50,000.Do we really need to pay for cars and country club memberships for people that are making hundreds of thousands (in some cases, in the millions) per year?I don't understand the need for cuts, it can't be for money, as the thing in the paper showed our football program being well in the black as well as the entire athletic department, and we aren't receiving our full allotment from the big 10 yet.
