Auburn to name Iowa State's Chizik as coach

This is absolutely hilarious!!! Auburn has had good defense and offense has been their problem so they go out and hire a defensive minded guy?!?! I can't believe they didn't take Turner Gill

Checking the pulse of ISU fans...it looks like three of them are happy he's gone, two are upset about it, and the other one is busy watching the volleyball match.

I agree.

This guy has proven nothing besides the fact that he is an average Head Coach. This is a stupid hire and I hope the goofball boosters that run that program down there are happy. Hiring an unsuccessful head coach is not the way to keep up with Saban and Alabama. Oh well.

Maybe Turner will go to ISU now.

 
Auburn is crazed. Why do they have to give him $3 Million? Even if they know something we do not and he works out, he has done NOTHING to warrant that kind of jack. N-O-T-H-I-N-G.

They have more money than sense.

I am not sure if Gill would have been a good recruiter since he is not connected down there, but I think I would have gone with Gill over Chizik. Gill has at least proven he can coach.
